Fairmont State University hosts One Pill Can Kill showing for Marion County Students

Over 2,000 students from North Marion, East Fairmont and Fairmont Senior gathered at The Fester Center at Fairmont State University this morning to watch the GameChanger Produced Film One Pill Can Kill. West Virginia Governor and GameChanger Head Coach Jim Justice spent nearly 20 minutes talking to the students about the dangers of fentanyl and buying pills over the internet. The Governor, who brought along student favorite Baby Dog, also talked to the students about how special they were and how much they had to offer and the bright futures they have in front of them. He warned them that in these days one mistake, just one error in judgement can cause them their life.

GameChanger Executive Director Joe Boczek also addressed the students and introduced the film and Fairmont State Interim President Diana Phillips gave a short talk and introduced Governor Justice. Today’s event was another in a series planned for venues across the state to play the film and introduce the One Pill Can Kill Program to all middle and high school students across West Virginia.
